Designer

HSI is adding to the Engineering team!

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. The Designer prepares CAD models, drawings, and bill of materials for use with production personnel.

2. Creates, modifies, and distributes CAD models, drawings and bill of materials.

3. Completes design projects and design changes with minimal guidance.

4. Measures parts/assemblies and recreates them in CAD.

5. Verifies production design files for compliance, accuracy and thoroughness prior to release for production.

6. Ability to read and interpret documents is a plus.

7. Must be able to work independently and take responsibility for design projects.

8. CAD certificate and/or at least 2+ years of related experience.
