About Us
History
Hess Services, Inc. was founded in 1989 in Hays, Kansas by Dan Hess, who began operations with a single welding truck. The company has since grown into a diversified industrial fabrication and service organization with operations across multiple facilities, and continues to operate under his leadership as CEO.
Today, Hess Services provides integrated capabilities across engineering, manufacturing, and field services. Our core work includes the design, fabrication, and repair of industrial and oilfield equipment such as API storage tanks, ASME pressure vessels, piping systems, structural skids, and service rigs.
Our primary facilities are located in Hays, Kansas, with additional operations in Watford City, North Dakota. Across these locations, we maintain significant fabrication, assembly, and operational space to support both custom and production work.

Engineering & Design

Fiberglass Tank Manufacturing
Above-ground and underground fiberglass storage tanks for fuel, water, industrial and agricultural applications. Offerings include tanks compliant with the 3rd edition of UL 1316.
Concrete & Bulk Material Handling
Major concrete and precast supplier in western Kansas also offering design, fabrication, and support of concrete batch plant systems including material storage, handling, and transport. Capabilities include bins, hoppers, silos, structural components, and integration with pneumatic bulk trailer systems for cement, fly ash, and other dry materials.
