Building Maintenance Manager

Hess Services, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Building Maintenance Manager.

Essential Function include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing building systems and equipment.

2. Review equipment manuals and track equipment repairs to establish and improve preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns.

3. Coordinate preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize impact of production. – Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to determine needed repairs and other materials to support production needs.

4. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
– Respond to maintenance requests from staff and in a timely manner.

5. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

6. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or installations.

7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

 8. Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations. Mentor team members.

Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance (manufacturing environment a plus) with -2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.

-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of building systems.

-Familiarity with logic controllers and high voltage systems is a plus.

-Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

-Knowledge of project management principles for planning and executing maintenance projects.

-Experience with industrial maintenance practices, including fabrication and welding.
